Keystone Testing Info

Who: Any eligible re-tester based on previous scores in 9th -12th grade or those who have COMPLETED Algebra 1, Sophomore Literature, or Biology and have not taken the Keystone yet. 

All students eligible to test will receive a letter, but if any student wants to know if they are testing, please email Ms. McAllister, CAPA testing coordinator: jhmcallister@philasd.org

What: Winter Keystone Exams are State-required assessments designed to measure how well students understand Algebra 1, Biology, and Sophomore Literature.  These skills are part of Pennsylvania’s graduation pathways. Click HERE for more information about Keystones &   Click HERE for more about Keystones in SDP

WINTER KEYSTONE PARENT MATERIALS 25-26 PARENT MATERIALS

When:
Alg 1- Jan. 6 & 7
Bio- Jan. 8 & 9
Lit- Jan. 12 & 13
Each testing day, eligible testing students will complete one module in that subject area, lasting approximately 90 minutes.

Each subject area has two modules (one completed each day):
Alg (Jan. 6/7)
Bio (Jan. 8/9)
Lit (Jan. 12/13)
Make-Up date: Jan. 14th

Where:
CAPA- room assignments will be announced closer to the testing dates.

Time:
January 6,7,8,9 – arrival at 8:30 AM-11:00 AM for testing
Non-Testers will arrive at 10:50. 

January 12 & 13 : Regular day bell schedule 8:04am arrival for all.

NO LATE ARRIVAL ON JANUARY 12TH AND 13TH

HOWAll students testing MUST use their SCHOOL-PROVIDED CHROME BOOK to take the exam.  They will be using the DRC-Insight app installed on their Chromebooks, so it must be charged and ready to complete the exams on testing day.
