School Advisory Council

Welcome to CAPA’s School Advisory Council (SAC)

CAPA’s School Advisory Council (SAC) is a collaborative and inclusive group of parents, teachers, administrators, students, and community members. 

The Council meets throughout the year to strengthen school–community communication, and, as part of its work, review school budgets and policies, assess program effectiveness, and provide input and recommendations on school programs and initiatives, all in support of CAPA’s mission to nurture students’ creative talents and academic success within a college-preparatory arts program.

If you are interested in supporting student curiosity, creativity, and academic achievement; helping maintain a positive school climate and culture; and promoting the health and well-being of the school community, we invite you to attend a SAC meeting. 

Meetings are open to all teachers, staff, parents/guardians, students, and community members. 

Meetings are held at 6:00 PM on the fourth Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted.

Meetings will alternate between in-person and virtual.

Remaining SAC meeting dates for the current 2025-2026 school year:

• April 22 – Virtual

• May 20 (third Weds) – format TBD
